About Dedwarmo

Note:  If you spot a spelling or grammatical error, anywhere on my site, leave a comment and let me know.

Many of my posts are simply a photo of a place I visited and the latitude and longitude of that place. Some posts contain the latitude and longitude alone. If you copy and paste the latitude and longitude into Google you’ll see a map of the location.

A little about me:

• I’ve never been married.
• I was born in 1968.
• My Google+ profile is here.
• Twitter http://twitter.com/dedwarmo

Here are some of my other interests:

adventure, air, art, artificial intelligence, backpacking, books, camping, circuses, climbing, computer graphics, earth, efficiency, flight, food, free software, fringe entertainers, games, human powered vehicles, humor, inventors, juggling (I do a little juggling of 3 or 4 objects), kites, language, law, Linux, maps, mathematics, movies, music, nature, outdoors, performers, philosophy, photography, science, shelter, space travel, stunts, travel, walking, water and more.

While working as a truck driver I’ve passed through 48 different states and a couple Canadian provinces. I’ve never been to Alaska or Hawaii. In fact, the list of places I’ve never visited is staggeringly long.

Two of my favorite vacations were visiting the North Rim of the Grand Canyon and the Grand Canyon Skywalk. One time, I spent one day in Key West and when I was in college I spent a month working in Antigua. If I had more money I would spend more time traveling. If I could afford the ticket I’d buy a seat on the next Virgin Galactic flight. If you are looking for volunteers to go to the Moon or Mars, sign me up (even if it’s a one-way trip).

  1. Hey Dedwarmo, a friend at church, who happens to be a scientist, pointed out that you can’t displace mass; you can only displace volume. You better fix that before people start questioning your scientific credentials (you know, Evolution, Global Warming, displacing mass. It’s all junk science ;-)
