  1. Using the ESL Cafe as a guide, I asked my native English speaking friends, “Can I have some amunition for my armpit, amigos?” They just looked at me as if I had three ears.

  2. I’ve never heard anyone use “ammunition” when referring to toilet paper. And I personally don’t use toilet paper on my armpits, but I do use it to “blow my nose.”

  3. I’ve never heard anyone use “ammunition” for toilet paper either. So, if we do hear it, we might have an idea where it came from :-) I just approached the ESL guide as a non-English speaker and put a few words together. It was a bit of a stretch.
