I spent the night at the self-proclaimed world’s largest truck stop, “Iowa 80.” It certainly had room for hundreds of trucks to park. The travel store had a truck accessory showroom which included two fully customized trucks, one on a rotating platform, and a truck hooked to a full-sized trailer. There was a huge door at one end of the room that must have been used to get the trucks inside. In another part of the store a vintage fire truck was on a lift so it was level with the second-floor balcony. Not only was the place large, clean and well maintained but the Iowa 80 Truck Stop included a dentist, barber shop, and–get this–a dog wash.
